From the OC Sheriff’s Department:
On August 8th, 2018 at approximately 2:26PM, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division along with Orange County Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at the residence located at 5357 Old Highway 87 in Orange.
During the search of the residence Investigators located approximately two pounds of hydroponic marijuana with a street value of approximately $11,000.00.
Investigators also seized two firearms, surveillance equipment, other electronic devices, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia from the residence.
The resident, 57 year old Thomas Sonnier, was not arrested. Pending further investigation, charges of felony Possession of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon are expected to be filed with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
