A 28-year-old woman suffered a serious head injury Sunday evening in an ATV accident in the LaPray Lane area near Vidor. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the woman was taken by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Deputies reported the woman was a passenger next to the driver of a side-by-side Kawasaki Teryx. The ATV hit a hole and the vehicle bounced. The woman’s head hit one of the support poles of the ATV.
