
James William Ball, age 87, passed away on September 9, 2017, in Central City, Colorado. A graveside service, under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home, will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park, in Orange, Texas.
On April 14, 1930, Jim was born to Anna and James Ball, in Port Arthur, Texas. Jim was a genuinely kind and quiet man, who always made sure to do many kind deeds for others, even if they went unknown. He loved God and his family, and was a proud American. Jim served his country honorably in the United States Air Force for 20 years and was especially proud to be a Vietnam Veteran.
Jim is reunited with his loved ones; father, James Dyson Ball; mother, Anna Mae Ball; sister, Margie Ewell; brother, Joe Ball; daughter, Elaine Harris; and grandson, Justin Ball.
Those who will cherish memories of Jim for many years to come are his beloved wife, Norma Ball; sons, Craig, Randy, and Donald; grandchildren, Olivia, Jack, Jimmy, Jason, Danny, Jeremiah; great-grandson, Calvin; and numerous members of extended family and friends.
