Kim Davis(Left) and Stacy James(Right), on behalf of Bridge City State Bank, present a $6,000 check to Superintendent Dr. Stephen Patterson and Athletic Director Josh Smalley to help cover the cost of flooring the high school weight after Tropical Storm Harvey sent water rushing though the facility back in August of 2017.
Orangefield Elementary and High School libraries recently received two checks totaling $22,200. A $12,200 grant came from The Brown Foundation Inc. of Houston and a $10,000 grant from the H. E. B. Tournament of Champions. Local area H.E.B’s also contribute to the Tournament of Champions. This money will help rebuild the school’s libraries after the devastation of Harvey.
