On Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at approximately 10:15am, Orange County Sheriff’s Office Detectives along with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office recovered a 2007 Dakota travel trailer previously reported as stolen through Orange County. The Dakota trailer was located near the Delta Downs Casino located along Hwy 109 South in Vinton, Louisiana.
The Sheriff’s Office is pleased to report that the trailer has been released to the owner. Orange County Detectives will continue to investigate the circumstances involving this theft.
Original KOGT Release April 3 – A family living on the river moved their RV to the carpool lot at Hwy. 62 & 12 to avoid the rising water and someone stole it and all their belongings from there sometime between noon Monday, Apr. 2 to 9am Tuesday.
