Special Projects Coordinator Michelle Tubbleville provided an update for the Court on the Disaster Relief Center at the Orange County Expo Center. She informed that the state is requesting to close the DRC on Saturdays, but keep it open still on Mondays through Fridays. FEMA is leasing a room at the Expo Center to use for the DRC through the end of this month. Tubbleville added that there are 224 families from Orange County that are still staying in FEMA funded hotels. Most of the families are waiting to get their trailer homes from FEMA, Tubbleville concluded.
