The National Weather Service in Lake Charles is forecasting a cold front to approach our region Wednesday, and move slowly across the region into Thursday. There will be a slight risk for strong to severe storms Wednesday and Thursday. In addition, expect to see one to five inches of rain. During periods of heavy rain, expect to see some street flooding. Area rivers could see minor to moderate flooding, depending on exactly where the axis of heavy rain falls.
