
A man told Orange police he was attacked with a knife by someone he knows early Sunday morning. Officers report the man had an injury but did not report that he sought medical help.
Police went to a house in the 2300 block of Fourth Alley at 2:14 Sunday morning after a call about a disturbance. A man met officers and said he had lived at the house for seven days. When he went to get his belongings, a person with a knife prevented him from getting inside. He tried again to go inside, but the person attacked him. He then asked a friend to call police.
Also early Sunday morning, a car hit a parked SUV in a driveway in the 2400 block of Sixth Street in the Brownwood neighborhood. Police went to the house at 1:49 a.m. A Toyota Camry sedan had been traveling on Dogwood and at the turn onto Sixth Street left the roadway. The sedan then hit the back passenger side of a Ford Explorer parked in a driveway.
Police reported the driver of the Toyota ran away from the crash before officers arrived. The car is registered to a Vidor man.
Burglars hit another house being remodeled after Harvey damaged. Police at 9:38 Sunday morning were called to a house in the 4700 block of Oak Valley Drive in the Oak Creek Village subdivision. Someone broke inside the house and stole items.
