
The Republican Party will have a public forum Tuesday night in Vidor for the two county judge candidates and the two candidates for Precinct 4 commissioner.
The forum is open to the public and will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Vidor Elementary School cafeteria at 400 Old U.S. Highway 90 in Vidor.
Republican candidates for county judge are incumbent Brint Carlton and Dean Crooks. Running for Precinct 4 candidate are incumbent Jody Crump and Vidor Mayor Robert Viator.
The Democratic party has no contested local primary races. The primary races are March 6 and early voting will begin February 20.
