MUD Customers Still Under A Boil Water Notice

The boil water notice for North Orange Water Customers has been lifted. But MUD residents are still under a boil water notice.

Sunday night the district said, “As of Sunday night, January 21 the Mauriceville Utility District is still under the boil water notice at this time due to the low water pressure event. As required by Texas state law the notice cannot be rescinded until enough water samples are tested within the district. We are working diligently on this effort and will update when the notice can be cleared. Thank you for your patience and sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
