The City of Pinehurst is asking citizens there to have any debris items from Harvey stacked along the curb by Monday, November 6. Public Works Director John Toney said the final debris removal in Pinehurst will be done between the week of November 6-10.
Toney instructs that the flood debris should be stacked in two piles: one for sheetrock, flooring, furniture, and other household items; the second stack is for white items like refrigerators, freezers, stoves, washers, dryers, or water heaters.
No new construction debris will be picked up. The contractors working on repairs at homes are responsible for disposing of new construction debris. Toney indicated there will be just one more pass down each Pinehurst street to pick up debris from Harvey beginning November 6.
