Elizabeth Ann Windham, 72, of Orange, passed away on July 6, 2017 in Beaumont, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Edgar Hennigan from New Anointing Full Gospel Church officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Dorman Funeral Home.
Elizabeth was born in Orange, Texas on July 31, 1944 to Jimmie Pearl Thomas Gordon and William Earl Gordon, Sr. Elizabeth proudly served as a minister for the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church. She also dedicated 25 years working for W.O.W.D. Elizabeth loved spending time with her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, William Gordon, Jr. and Odes Gene Gordon. Her two children; Diana Whitson and Melvin Bryan Whitson, Jr.
Those left to cherish Elizabeth’s memory are her children; Stephen Whitson of Orange, TX, Kevin Whitson of Bridge City, TX, Corky Windham and his wife Nikki of Bon Wier, TX and Mona Vincent and her husband Tim of Orange, TX. Her grandchildren; Brock Whitson, Whitney Whitson, Chase Whitson, Riley Whitson, Reagan Whitson, Bryan Whitson, Dakota Whitson, Amanda Vincent, Timothy Vincent, Ashley Windham, Latoshia Windham, Bobby Windham and Luke Windham. Nine great grandchildren; and her siblings, Barbara Glende and her husband Larry of Buna, TX, Becky Gordon of Orange, TX, James Gordon of Orange, TX and Wayne Gordon and his wife Cora of Bridge City, TX.
