SHERIFF’S REPORT
06/12/2017
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Let’s see what’s been going on.
Please remember Game Warden, Justin Eddins family in your prayers. He lost his wife in a tragic accident.
Deputy Jerry Bowden got a tip about a stolen travel trailer. With some good police work he recovered it and got a confession. Good job Jerry!
Deputy Barry Laird found a purse in the middle of the highway. Also a drivers license and cell
phone. Further investigations is leading to serious charges.
I need to hoot two peoples horn. Chief Deputy Cynthia Hall and Newton Chief of Police, Will Jackson have been working on a cold case murder. They have done so good that we got an indictment for murder on our person of interest. You two did good!
The lady who was going to help me out with a Schnauzer puppy, I lost your number, please call me.
Gotta Go: Thought for the week. Never test the depth of the water with both feet. Ya’ll have a good week and if we can help, just holler. God Bless.
