The West Orange-Stark Mustang baseball team completed a two game sweep of the Tarkington Longhorns Saturday with a 7-4 win in Jasper.
The win sets up a series with district opponent Orangefield in the third round of the 4A playoffs.
Chad Dallas was the winning pitcher, giving up four runs on seven hits in the first four innings. Dallas got better as the game went on, only giving up a walk in the final three innings with five strikeouts.
The game was tied at four after four and a half innings when the Mustangs went to work. Jack Dallas lead off with a double off the wall. Ryan Ragsdale then drove Dallas home with a single. Chad Dallas would get on safely and an error would score them both for a 7-4 lead that they would not relinquish.
