WOS junior Chad Dallas threw a no hitter, struck out 14, and walked one as the Mustangs blanked the LCM Bears 9-0.
WOS (6-0) started the scoring in the second when Blake Robinson doubled in two runs. Kaleb Ramsey scored on an error to make it 3-0. In the third Jack Dallas reached on an error and then scored on a wild pitch to make it 4-0. In the sixth, LCM pitchers walked the bases loaded, then walked in a run. They hit a batter to score another and an error scored another run. The fifth run of the inning came on a Chad Dallas single.
The Bears (1-5) used six pitchers in the game. Truman Franklin started and went 3.1 innings. Brett Bell, Chris Bilbo, JLon Douglas, Spencer Bonura, and Reagan Burdette pitched in relief.
WOS will play Hamshire-Fannett Thursday and the Bears travel to Bridge City.
