Lori Shannon (Delaney) Deason, 56, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017, at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas, in Beaumont, Texas.
On Saturday, January 21, 1961, Shannon was born to parents Virginia (Harris) and Douglas Delaney, in Orange, Texas, where she remained a lifelong resident. Shannon was a Christian woman of the Baptist faith and worked for many years as a nursing home caregiver. She loved animals, especially her horses. Shannon was known for her beautiful smile and fiery red hair.
Proceeding Shannon in death are her parents; daughter, Brittany Rene Deason; and sister, Dawn Aytes.
Shannon is survived by her son, Dyllon Deason; 4 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Private interment was held, under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home, at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park, in Orange, Texas, where Shannon was laid to rest next to her daughter.
