The Orangefield Girls’ Track and Field team competed in the Vidor Relays on Thursday March 2nd. They worked hard all night and came away with several medals.
Field Events: In Pole Vault Brooklyn Goldsmith placed 1st, Mackenzie Davis placed 2nd, and Ivy Forman finished 4th. Bailee Click took 4th in the High Jump, Mackenzie Davis 4th in the Long Jump, Haleigh Hutchison placed third in the discus, and Kathy Nguyen 6th in the Shot Put.
In the running events Madison Helm – 1st in both the 1600 and the 3200. Victoria Welch – 3rd in the 800. Mackenzie Davis – 3rd in the 300 hurdle. Lexi Copeland 6th in the 300 hurdle. Emmi Lummus placed 6th in the 100 and 3rd in the 400.
The Orangefield boys’ varsity track team competed at the Pirate Relays this Thursday. The team finished the night with a total of 64 points. The individual awards goes as followed.
– Tyler Jenkins 1st place in the Pole Vault.
– Ryan Deutsch 1st place in the 400 meter dash.
– Drew Worthy 2nd place in the 800 meter run.
– Lane Rach 2nd place in the 110 meter hurdles.
– Justin Flanagan 2nd place in the 200 meter dash.
– Zach Patronis 3rd place in the 400 meter dash.
– Drew Worthy 4th place in the 1600 meter run.
– Caleb Kress 5th place in the High Jump.
– Kaden Dubose, Justin Flanagan, Kade Grozier, Quy Tsan 5th place in the 4 X 200 meter Relay.
– Kaden Dubose 6th place in the Long Jump.
– Robbie Kearns 6th place in the 3200 meter run.
– Kaden Dubose, Quy Tsan, Christian Louvier, Kade Grozier 6th
place in the 4 X 100 meter Relay.
