Orangefield Varsity defeated Liberty 16-2 in the first game of the Lumberton Tournament. Mason Gonzales was the winning pitcher, allowing 2 runs through 3.2 IP with 7 Ks. Offensive leaders for the bobcats were Payton Lathrop (3 hits), Mason Gonzales (2 hits), and Andrew Hoyland with 2 hits and 6 RBI in the game. The bobcats lost to Huntington in game 2 of the day, by a score of 9-11. Leading hitters were Mack Patterson, Kent Michael, and Dylan Anthony (all collecting 2 hits each). The bobcats are now 6-1 on the year. Orangefield JV defeated Sabine Pass Varsity in day one of the Orangefield Tournament to move to 4-1 on the season. The bobcats were led by Cade Brown with 3 hits on the night (double, triple). Cade Brown also picked up the win on the mound.
