UTA sophomore Alexus Henry scored a personal best in the pentathlon and notched the second-best total in school history to highlight the first day of action at the J.D. Martin Invitational.
Henry completed the five events with 3,546 total points. The mark smashed her previous personal record of 3,387 set a year ago. The school record is 3,658 set by Danielle Delage in 2013.
