Melvin Dunn of Orange finished second at the FLW Bass Fishing League Regional Championship at Lake Dardanelle in Arkansas last weekend. A top 6 finish qualifies him for the 2017 BFL All-American Tournament will be held May 31-June 3 on Pickwick Lake in Florence, Alabama. Top winners in the BFL can move up to the Costa FLW Series or even the Walmart FLW Tour.
Dunn said he used crankbaits off the riprap or 1.25 ounce Sweet Beaver to punch through heavy cover.
The BFL is a 24-division circuit devoted to weekend anglers, with 120 tournaments throughout the season, five in each division.
