Ashlyn Taylor, Senior at Bridge City High School honored as October Rotary International Student of the Month.
Ashlyn is the daughter of Claude and Lorrie Taylor. She has a GPA of 3.83 and is ranked 43 of 171. Ashlyn’s awards and honors include:

Ashlyn’s future plans are to attend Lamar University, become a registered nurse and work for a local hospital.

She is very diligent, hard-working, and self-motivated. It has been my distinct pleasure to teach such an intelligent, amiable young lady.”
Mrs. Peveto, Allied Health, said, “Ashlyn Taylor is an outstanding student. She always goes above and beyond what is asked of her. She has outstanding character. I have no doubt that she will make an outstanding nurse one day.”
Ms. Sheppard, English, said “Ashlyn Taylor is outstanding both inside and outside the classroom. I could always depend on her to come to class prepared and eager to complete all tasks. She was also very insightful when we had a classroom discussions and never failed to help a peer that was struggling with an assignment. Her character shines through her and it’s rare to see someone with such strong faith and convictions, and inner beauty at her age. Having her in my classroom was such a blessing and she taught me many valuable lessons that I will never forget!”
