Food businesses and restaurants continue to score high in health inspections even with some flies at a couple of places and mice feces in a storage room. Orange County Health Inspector James Scales went to 14 businesses during the first part of October and gave only one perfect score. However, they all received A’s with the lowest score a 90.
The 100 went to Whataburger, 540 North Main Street in Vidor. Scales also gave no scores after inspections at two places. One was the Mount Olive Baptist Church soup kitchen in Orange and the other was a pre-re-opening inspection for Orange Truck Stop, 333 Lutcher Drive.
