Mark Mitchell, a manager at DuPont, recently presented a check for over $2700.00 to Captain Frankco Higdon of The Salvation Army of Orange.
These funds were donated by the employees of the DuPont Sabine River Works plant to support local disaster relief. In addition to the traditional services such as after-school and summer day camps and sports leagues, The Salvation Army of Orange has been actively supporting those affected by recent flooding in the area.
Capt. Higdon says “The summer months are a time of decreased donations and these funds will help us very much.”
