
Lamar University Office of Alumni Affairs announces 2016-2017 Alumni Advisory Board
The Lamar University Alumni Advisory Board has elected Ramson Jones of Beaumont to serve as 2016-2017 president. Carol Hebert of Nederland is past president and Tony Landry of Nederland will serve as president-elect.
New members of the board are Mellie Bevilacqua, John Ceravolo, Alan Hefty, Jennifer Nichols, Srinivas Palanki, and Ashley Pippins, all of Beaumont; Fred Vernon of Houston; Jeremy Roebuck of Lumberton; Stephen Lee of Orange; and Chris Bates of Port Arthur; Gary Hidalgo of Sour Lake; and Surya Gade of Sugar Land.
Returning board members include Brad Brown, Debi Derrick, Mike Eaves, Joel Foxworth, Catherine Gilby, Tim Gregory, Lloyd Hebert, Ronald Jackson, Ransom Jones, Caitlin Kruger, Amy Lovoi, Rebekah Maxwell, Diana Miles, Cindy Partin, Ellen Rienstra, Jeff Wheeler and Brandi Wulf, all of Beaumont.
Other returning board members are Joseph Jeter of Baytown; Rachel Gilford of Bulverde; Brian Roberson of Houston; Lauren Brooks and Kristin Mattingly of Lumberton; Carol Hebert and Tony Landry of Nederland; and Phillip Dillow of Port Arthur.
Alumni Advisory Board members serve three-year terms and support the Lamar University Office of Alumni Affairs as ambassadors, advisors and advocates, and by helping to develop and strengthen lifelong relationships between alumni and the university community.
