The Baylor Bears ended Lamar’s 15 game win streak Wednesday in Waco with a come from behind 6-3 win.
Baylor catcher Matt Menard, the junior from Bridge City, had a hand in defeating the Cards going 2-4 with 2 RBI’s. Menard is having his best statistical season so far with a .338 batting average.
Baylor (17-16) will play Oklahoma State in Big 12 action over the weekend.
Lamar (25-8, 10-2) will host McNeese (20-11, 10-5) this weekend.
