Orange police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found early this morning in the roadway of the 500 block of North Street in the Brownwood addition.
Captain Weldon Smith said the man, whose identity has not been released, appears to have been in a fight.
Captain Smith said police were called at 2:30 a.m. to the street because of a disturbance. When officers arrived, they found the dead man lying next to a vehicle.
No other information was available at news time.
