The LCM Lady Bears golf team took home second place honors with a total of 389 at the Brentwood Golf Course hosted by Ozen. Senior Lauren Cox broke the LCM girl’s record by shooting 69 and won 2nd place medalist. The previous record was held by Cox and Angela Wray with a 70. Kacie Nichols – 108, Theresa Beckett – 102, Jessica McLain – 110, and Marlee Bird – 134 rounded out the Lady Bear golf team.
PNG’s team won the 1st place team trophy with a total of 343. Karlei Hemler won the 1st place medal with a score of 68. Brynna Bailey won 3rd place medalist by shooting 85.
Little Cypress-Mauriceville sophomore Spencer Johns won the Warren JV boys golf tournament on Tuesday with an 88. Jack Tindel shot a 105 and Matthew Halliburton shot 137.
