The Orange County grand jury on Wednesday indicted 30-year-old Jeffrey Mulvaney on two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child.
Relatives of the victims said the two girls were 7 years old.
The indictment documents accuse Mulvaney in one case of abusing the child from December 1, 2011, to January 1, 2013. The dates on the other case are from December 1, 2013, to December 1, 2014.
His bond has been set at a total of $100,000, or $50,000 for each count. Continuous sexual abuse of a child is a first degree felony with a punishment of five to 99 years in prison and a maximum fine of $10,000.
