The Two Amigos Mexican Restaurant on 16th Street was struck by a burglar early Monday morning. It was the fourth break-in at the restaurant in a week, but later in the morning Orange Police arrested a 47-year-old man in connection with the burglaries.
Detective Captain Robert Enmon said Kevin Wayne Bradshaw is in the Orange County Jail and has given officers a statement concerning the break-ins at the restaurant on 16th Street at Interstate 10.
During the break-ins, liquor was stolen the first night. Another night change was taken from a toy vending machine that was damaged. A cash register was destroyed one night. The latest break-in was discovered about 12:30 a.m. Monday and a gumball machine was destroyed.
Captain Enmon said Bradshaw may be connected to another burglary of a business during the past week.
McCoy’s off Interstate 10 and Palais Royal in the Northway Shopping Center were also hit by burglars last week. Police arrested a man outside McCoy’s for the break-in and another man was arrested in connection with the Palais Royal burglary.
