“Finally!” Tony Dallas said after finding the winning certificate in the KOGT Mardi Gras Treasure Hunt sponsored by Sabine Federal Credit Union. Dallas admits being a treasure hunting junkie, coming close many times, but never finding the treasure until Thursday. The certificate was hidden behind the Mustangs sign at the corner of Western Ave. and Foreman Road. Each clue will be explained by The Cluemaster on The KOGT Morning Show Friday at 8am.

CLUE 5: FRIDAY; JANUARY 29
Today’s television show ran for nine seasons and was based on a novel which many credit as being the first book of its genre. The series’ 90-minute plots are set in the 90s and tell of the title character working as the top assistant at a sprawling business venture for his boss who is a judge and the collection of other unusual persons that come across his path. The book was the subject of multiple motion pictures and the TV show had a name change in its final season. For what it’s worth this should be the last clue, so if you figure it out you’re the man.

CLUE 4: THURSDAY; JANUARY 28
This remarkable and ironical story follows the life of the sole survivor in one of history’s most famous battles. Taking place in the Dakota Territory the title character begins as a free spirit before being recruited to fight on both sides of a decisive engagement during which one group was killed to the last man. This film originally appeared at theaters, but later became a regular feature on the weekly television show Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color. The herd is looking for the treasure, but you need to sprint ahead to avoid the stampede of followers.

CLUE 3: WEDNESDAY; JANUARY 27
This long running television series featured a cop, a doc, and a carrot top female business person through its entire incredible run that covered parts of three decades. The show dealt with the interpersonal relationships of the three primary characters and how they handled the often colorful visitors that came to their city. In its early years this series topped the ratings list every season. It aimed high and set the benchmark which other series of its genre tried to imitate. Try taking a shot at identifying this show then make like the wind and blow.

CLUE 2: TUESDAY; JANUARY 26
Two men from opposing enterprises seek control of the same territory. One is a CEO for a long existing firm, the other is a new agent seeking to do business on the other’s turf. Their fierce competition turns into a rare friendship which leads to the title of this show which was also the name of a couple of motion pictures. The series was actually based on real life events. Running from 1956 to 1958 there were 72 episodes for this series before it left the small screen. If you’ve broken the identity of this show make like an arrow to find the treasure.

Set in the 70s this television series gave the exploits of a debonair business man who perused newspapers to find his clients. If their needs were satisfactory to his extremely scrutinizing scruples he would send his iconic business card to inform them how to contact him for his unique services and gifted talents. The words on his card, not coincidently, were also the title of this television series that aired Saturday nights for six very successful seasons on CBS. Have you got a clue to the name of this famous show, it will help you travel in the right direction.

You are looking for an orange colored certificate about the size of a 4×6 index card in the greater Orange area. There is no digging or climbing necessary to find the treasure certificate. The certificate is hidden on property open 24 hours a day to the public. It is NOT in a building. If you find the certificate follow the instructions on it to claim the prize. The clue will be read on the hour on KOGT Radio beginning at 6am. The clue will also be posted on KOGT.com at 6am. Whoever finds the certificate will win $500!!
