A motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont Sunday afternoon after he slid the cycle on its side. Orange Patrol Officer Logan Holland said the driver could not remember what happened. However, police found a tree branch under the motorcycle. The accident was about 4 p.m. in the 1100 block of Main Street. The driver was 28-year-old Aaron Cole of Orange.
On Sunday afternoon, a 25-year-old Nederland man was arrested for DWI after a Chevrolet Tahoe ran into a utility pole and fence in the 1300 block of Allie Payne Road. Officer James Roy reported the driver ran away but was soon found.
