Monday night the LCM Bears got a big win over Jasper 52-45. For LCM (4-5) Katon Brown had a monster game with 20 pts and 11 rebounds. Andrew Daspit added 9 and Ayson Simmons, 8. For the Bulldogs (5-3), Antwan Thomas score 18. LCM will participate in the HJ Marathon this week.

The WOSMS boys basketball teams took care of business Monday night against the MMS Panthers. 7B started the night out winning 22-2. Kaleb Istre lead the team scoring 5 points. In the 8B game Quincy Ledet had a game high 8 points to help the Stallions win 20-8. The 7A team would get back in the W column with a score of 24-20 over the Panthers. Malachi Rachel lead the team with 8 points. In the final game of the night the 8A team would jump out to an early lead and never look back winning 42-14. Wilbert Ned lead all scorers with 11 points. The Stallions will travel to Orangefield next Thursday, December 17th to wrap up the first half of district play.
