Charles Robert “Bubba” Burch, 58, of Orange passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at his residence.
Bubba was born on December 12, 1956 in Orange, Texas to parents Opal Mae (Welch) and Hark Burch. He was a lifelong resident of Orange and was of the Baptist Faith. He was employed with Brock Services for 10 plus years as a carpenter. Bubba enjoyed going fishing, hunting and playing dominoes. Bubba was a loving person who will be missed dearly by all and who loved spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Opal and Hark Burch and son, Robert Brandon Burch.
Bubba is survived by his wife, Kathy Burch of Orange; daughters, Opal Green and husband, Chris of Orange, Dana Ashmore and husband, Jason of Deweyville; Hark Burch of Orange; step children, Ed Block of Orangefield, Chris Block of Ohio, Daryn Block of Orange, Faryn Block of Orange; brother, Larry Burch of Orange. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and one on the way; 1 great grandchild and one on the way.
The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 2 pm at New Life Assembly of God Church 7810 FM 105, Orange, TX 77630, with Rev. Keith Pennington officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 1 pm until service time at the church. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Dorman Funeral Home.
