
On Monday, June 2, 2025, the Vidor Police Department with the assistance the Department of Homeland Security, Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Beaumont Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, Orange County Constable Precinct 4, Orange County Constable Precinct 2, US Marshal’s Service and Newton County Constable Precinct 4 executed 10 evidentiary search warrants simultaneously encompassing all 8 – Liner game rooms located within the City of Vidor.
The locations of the game rooms are as follows:
1. 1914 S. Main Vidor, Texas
2. 420 S. Main, Vidor, Texas
3. 585 N. Main, Vidor, Texas
4. 1883 N. Main, Vidor, Texas
5. 20854 IH-10, Vidor, Texas
6. 3031 Hwy 12, Vidor, Texas
7. 3037 Hwy 12, Vidor, Texas
8. 2730 Hwy 12, Vidor, Texas
9. 1010 Old Hwy 90, Vidor, Texas
10. 1079 Orange Street, Vidor, Texas
No arrests were made at this time and the investigation is on-going. The Vidor Police Department would like to thank all agencies that assisted in this simultaneous execution of search warrants and the citizens that have complained about the criminal activity at these game rooms and the surrounding area.
The Vidor City Council will be considering banning the 8 liners in an upcoming City Council meeting following the recent Texas Supreme Court ruling (The City of Fort Worth and David Cooke, in his official capacity as Fort Worth City Manager v Stephannie Lynn Rylie, Texas C&D Amusements, Inc., and Brian and Lisa Scott d/b/a TSCA and d/b/a River Bottom Pub).
