The Faces of 22-4A Track
The running finals of the 22-4A Track Meet will begin at 6pm Thursday at WOS High School. Going into the finals the Orangefield girls and the Bridge City boys have the team lead.
LCM’s Eli Peveto and OF’s Madison Helm are the heavy favorites to win their second gold medal in the 1600. And then there’s the big match up in the 800 between LCM’s Rayce Piper, OF’s Drew Worthy, and Kevin Richard of WOS.
Questions will be answered.
Can WOS, currently last and second to last after field events, use their speed and success in the relays to make a run at the title?
Can the Lady Bobcats hold off the Lady Cards, who are just 6 points behind?
Who will finish second behind the defending state champion Kalon Barnes of Silsbee in the 100 & 200?
