Several Orangefield Junior High choir students competed at the All Region Tryouts, earlier this month. This tryout consisted of the students learning two pieces of music and then performing them individually for judges. O.J.H.8th grader, Leyton Loft, was awarded with 5th chair Bass and will perform at the Tenor/Bass clinic and concert on November 9-10. WOMS Student Earns All-Region Honor
Jaya Tizeano, a West Orange – Stark Middle School eighth grade student, has earned selection to the All-Region Choir. Tryouts were held recently at Little Cypress Junior High. Students competed by blind audition. Jaya sang one piece in Latin and the other in English. She will perform with the Honor Choir on Nov. 10 at West Brook High School. A young man from Orange should be a teacher. He could instruct people what not to do when being investigated for DWI. His actions included grabbing at the officer's gun. Hornets Sting Bobcats 22-20
Hard fought battle Friday night at F.L. McLain Stadium in Orangefield as the Bobcats hosted the Hardin Hornets with both teams fighting for a playoff spot in the eight team District 12-3A. After a great return by Clayson Choate the Bobcats went to work and scored on their first possession with Chase Broussard running in from 19 yards and Derek Glaze adding the point after.
