Born in Kosmosdale, Kentucky, on March 19, 1933, she was the daughter of Reader Thompson and Stella (Miller) Thompson. OPD Finds Body In Apartment
On December 22, 2018 at 3:12 P.M. officers responded to an unresponsive person. Officers arrived and located a black male in an apartment in the 300 blk. of 2nd St. The person show no signs of life. Justice of the Peace – Precinct 3, Judge Dubose-Simonton was contacted and an autopsy was ordered. The deceased is 37 year old Octavias Lamont Williams. Rollover Accident Sends One To Hospital (Update)
Saturday just before noon authorities responded to a one vehicle rollover on FM 1130 near M&S Grocery or what some refer to as the big curve. An elderly man was driving north when he lost control on the curve, veered off to the right, running through several front yards before flipping and coming to a stop near a driveway. Orange Fire had to cut the man out of the Toyota Rav4. He was talking at the scene to paramedics. Acadian Air Med then transported the man to a Lake Charles Hospital with unknown injuries. OC Man Killed In Jasper County
A man from Vidor was killed as a result of a one-vehicle crash in Jasper County on Friday. The Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the single vehicle crash at about 12:15 PM on FM 1131 near County Road 873 just south of FM 105 in Jasper County. Troopers report that a Chevrolet passenger vehicle was traveling northbound on FM 1131 at a slow rate of speed. A 2014 Nissan SUV was also traveling northbound on FM 1131 and attempted to avoid rear-ending the slower moving vehicle by veering to the left, but the driver lost control of his vehicle.
