Orangefield grad Bradley Dale Peveto, 55, has been hired by new Texas A&M Coach Jimbo Fisher to coach the Aggie linebackers. Peveto spent last season at Ole Miss when he was hired by then coach Hugh Freeze, who left the team before the season because of an off the field issue. Before the Rebels he had two tours with LSU. Two Accidents on I10 Stall Traffic Saturday (Update)
Two accidents in almost the same spot kept westbound traffic on Interstate 10 backed up Saturday. The first was at approximately 9am. The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to a multiple vehicle crash on Interstate 10, near mile marked 876 in front of Cecil Toyota. This crash involved three passenger vehicles and a truck tractor semi-trailer. Initial reports indicate that westbound traffic was stopped due to traffic congestion.
