Two In Hospital After Accident
An 85-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man were seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a three-vehicle collision on Highway 62 at FM 1078. Orange police reported Pauline Ledoux Ray of West Orange was taken by Acadian Ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. She was driving a Ford Focus. Brandon Malachi Morgan of Orange was taken by Acadian to Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. He was driving a Ram 2500 pickup truck. Orange police found grass in the crack of a man who had been taken to jail for misdemeanor disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Police reported the man had seven small baggies of marijuana weighing a total of 1.3 ounces in his "gluteal cleft." Authorities Release Name Of Teenager in Fatal Accident
On Sunday, January 21, 2018, at approximately 3:19 AM, the Vidor Police Department dispatch center received a call of a one vehicle traffic collision on Wexford Drive near North Main (HWY 105). The first officer on scene found a pick up that had left the roadway striking a tree. There was major damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. Bobby Dean Tuter, 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 7:11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Hospital with his family and friends by his side. Bobby was born on December 10, 1937 in Springfield Missouri to his loving parents, Bob and Gladys (Bodenhamer) Tuter.
