A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2018, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City. Officiating will be Father Steve Leger. Blanch Snell, 88, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away on March 25, 2018, after an extended illness. She was a long time resident of Orange, TX while calling Magnolia home for the last eight years. Born in Benson, LA, on June 8, 1929, she was the daughter of Martin and Catherine Santos. Blanch was a homemaker and an avid gardener. A young Orangefield man was injured Tuesday afternoon when he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving on an Interstate 10 access road near FM 1136. Orange police report 21-year-old George William Fox was taken by Acadian Ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont with non-incapacitating injuries. The investigating officer said the Isuzu motorcycle was eastbound in the outside lane in the 9900 block of Lutcher Drive, the access road. Frank Nezat Jr., 77, of Orange went home to be with his Heavenly Father on April 3, 2018. Frank was a hero to many who knew him. He was a firefighter for the City of Orange for 27 years before he retired. Years prior he was an EMT and mortician at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
