Youth Summer Programs Offered by AgriLife Extension Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Orange County will be offering several programs for youth this summer. The registration for the programs will be online at orange.agrilife.org and you will select the tab for the program interested in. Gates Start Closing At Toledo Bend
The Sabine River Authority Thursday afternoon shut six spillway gates at Toledo Bend Reservoir. Five remain open at one foot each. On Wednesday, 11 gates were open at two feet each and Thursday morning the 11 gates were lowered to one foot each. By the afternoon, the lake was down to 172.2 feet and the six gates were closed. The lake is considered full at 172 feet. The Sabine River at Deweyville crested Wednesday at 26.9 feet and was down to 26.7 feet Thursday afternoon.
