Accident Amputates Mans Arm
On Friday, December 7 at 10:00 a.m. the Pinehurst Police Department received a 9-1-1 call in reference to an industrial accident at a machine shop located at 1940 Strickland Drive in Pinehurst. Pinehurst Police Department, Pinehurst Fire and Rescue and Acadian Ambulance Service responded to the incident. Once on scene it was discovered that a 55 year-old white male had his arm amputated while servicing a piece of industrial equipment. Mustangs Meet Tigers For Region III Final
This week is the Regional Final in the state playoffs. Coach Cornel Thompson at West Orange-Stark said the Mustangs came out of their win last week over Jasper in good shape. The game with the Bulldogs may have been one of the more physical games of the season, but the Mustangs gave it back as good as they took it. Thompson advised, “Everybody will be ready to go Friday night.” That includes quarterback Tyrone Wilson who missed the game with concussion protocol.
