Woman Struck By Truck In Vidor
At approximately 5:45a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers received a report of an auto-pedestrian crash near the intersection of FM 105 and West Circle Road in Vidor. A 2015 Ford pickup truck was traveling northbound on FM 105. A pedestrian was walking in the middle of the roadway and walked into the path of the Ford. The pedestrian, Megan Gail Freeman, a 56-year-old female from Vidor, was pronounced deceased by Justice of the Peace Joy Dubose-Simonton. The pubic is invited to attend a video showing to commemorate VE DAY on June 6th at 6:30 pm at the Orange VFW Hall on Highway 87 North (5303 n 16th St). The program is not long, but it is very informative and one of 21 required commemorations the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Auxiliary must do yearly.
