No Charge For HE Filings
Homestead exemptions on property taxes save taxpayers money and they are easy to obtain. The Orange County Appraisal District gives the exemptions through filling out a simple form. Some people recently have gotten a mailed form through a company called Homestead Designation Services with an Austin address. The company will file for the homeowners exemption for a $45 fee.
