WOCCISD announces orientation activities

West Orange – Cove CISD is currently conducting on-line registration for all current students. The primary parent/guardian of every enrolled student must complete this process prior to the start of school. We encourage completion of this process by Friday, Aug. 10. On-line registration is accessible through the Family Access Parent Portal located on the district website: www.woccisd.net. In order to begin the process, parents must have a Family Access account. Andrew A. Pacher, 76, of Orange, Texas, passed away on July 31, 2018, in Buna, Texas. Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. County Planning Ahead

Orange County received a grant from the Rebuild Texas Fund this week that will be used to help the county be better prepared when a severe weather event occurs.  The $82,139 grant has been used to purchase special sandbag filling machines. Clark Slacum who oversees the county’s Road and Bridge Department believes the five sandbag machines will greatly facilitate the filling of sandbags.  He plans to have one of the machines at each of the four precinct barns in the county and an additional one in Mauriceville.
