The 61st Annual Toy Coffee hosted by the Service League of Orange will be 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7 with tours beginning at 812 Pine Ave., in Orange with a donation of an unwrapped toy or a cash donation to benefit The Salvation Army.
The Service League presents two beautiful homes in the Old Orange Historic District. The tour begins at the home of David Byrd and Loulan Guillot at 812 W Pine Ave and ends at the home of David & Kerri Clark at 806 W Pine Avenue. A guided tour and an array of goodies and treats will be served.
Many items of special interests will be displayed. The 1907 home at 812 W Pine Ave was dedicated as a historical marker in 1992. Features of this home include antique vehicles and an amazing collection of model cars. The “Memory Tree” full of handmade antique and vintage ornaments is breathtaking!
Next door, at 806 Pine Ave.,the 1923 home still has the original light fixtures. There are 16 beautifully decorated tress throughout the house. And even an elevator that was added to the original house during the 1930s.
This year, in conjunction with Granger Chevrolet and KOGT’s annual can food drive, can goods will also be collected to benefit Orange Christian Services and the Salvation Army.
Earlier in the day, Granger Chevrolet and KOGT Radio 8th Annual Can Drive is from 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. at Granger Chevrolet to benefit Orange Christian Services and the Salvation Army. This year, toys will also be collected for the Service League of Orange annual Toy Coffee.
