Former LCM Bear Angel Villanueva is leaving Galveston College after two seasons and continuing her play at University of Incarnate Word in the Southland Conference.
At Galveston she played second base and shortstop, earning All-Conference honors, was selected to play in the TJCAA All Star Game, and was selected team captain. She had a total of 20 homeruns, 69 RBI’s. Her batting average was a .319 with an OBP of .405 and a slugging percentage of .584.
Incarnate Word is located in San Antonio.
