The Seahawks practiced again Wednesday without All-Pro free safety Earl Thomas, who is recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, but good news came later in the day. Thomas, one of the most important players on the league’s stingiest defense, has passed his physical and will be activated from the physically unable to perform list.
Thomas opening camp on PUP, causing plenty of hand-wringing among Seahawks fans about his status for the start of the season, but the fact that he is being activated this early in camp bodes well for his chances to be on the field in St. Louis in Week 1. Thomas, a first-round pick in 2010 has started every regular season, postseason and preseason game in his five-year career. (Seahawks.com)
