WOS Coach Cornel Thompson was looking for a good road win and the team responded with a 49-0 win at Liberty in the district opener. “We haven’t played well on the road, especially in the first half, and we want to turn that around against Liberty, ” Thompson said in a pregame interview on KOGT.
WOS was lead by their QB Jack Dallas who was 13-13 in the air for 200 yards and three touchdowns to Thomas Wallace, Aric Cormier and Jeremiah Shaw. Running backs Melech Edwards, Shaw, and Quinton Chargois combined for 128 yds and three touchdowns (1 each).
Defensively the Mustang Chain Gang allowed Liberty only 79 yards, all of the ground.
WOS will host Orangefield for Homecoming Friday.

Friday, October 16th – 9:00-12:00pm ONLY
Ticket prices are $5 for Reserved tickets and $2 for students. All tickets at the gates are $5.
