At approximately 1:20p.m., the Texas Department of Public responded to one vehicle rollover crash on FM 1136 in Orange County. The crash occurred approximately two miles south of Highway 12. Initial reports indicate that a 2008 Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling southbound on FM 1136. The driver of the Chevrolet was traveling at an unsafe speed for the weather conditions and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle rolled over several times before coming to rest. The driver of the Chevrolet, 31-year-old Jared Rodgers of Orange, was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth hospital. His injuries did not appear to be life threatening according to emergency personnel, but he did suffer a broken leg. The passenger of the Chevrolet, 19-year-old Makayla Hebert of Orange, refused medical treatment at the crash scene. FM 1136 was closed for about two hours.
